Can we really be surprised?

The Pew Center for Internet and American Life has recently released its latest survey of Internet use among young people. It contains evidence that most kids send text messages each day and 25% have a smart phone. The conclusion is that mobile devices are going to play an increasing role in the lives of young people... and this is going to change their brains and their expectation of schools and we are not prepared for it!
