Students accessing FaceBook while at school is a major concern for school and technology leaders (that is said with a sarcastic tone and with tongue firmly in cheek). Until now, we have been able to control access from school networks, and only those students with smartphones connected to cellular data plans have been able to bypass our blocks. It appears that FaceBook Zero, is coming and is going to provide access to FB to anyone with a cell phone that can send and receive text messages. That means anyone who has a cell phone manufactured since about 2008.
