Middle school students are intrigued by robots and other futuristic and fantastic devices and plots and characters. In the past, I have had students consider ethics form the perspective of Isaac Asimov's laws of robotics. It has been some time since I have had the opportunity to consider those ideas with students, and then today, I found on the BBC's site an article that considers the potential of robots in today's world plus reference to Asimov's laws and a modern variation.This is on my "to read with students list."
