Online Learning Handbook: Netiquette | Student Resources | UW Professional & Continuing Education

I have begun my first MOOC-- Information Security on Coursera-- and they include a link to this page that summarizes some of what we should be reminded of whenever we start with a new online community. Share this with your students as you use online discussions in your courses; it demonstrates two points:
  1. Netiquette is something that professionals take seriously, so they might as well start being courteous and professional in your classroom.
  2. Online interaction will be part of their professional life.
