Usually titles like this are swiped over quickly as I look over my Twitter feed. This caught my eye, however, and I opened it with the cynicism of a parent who was (by most accounts) able to survive my children's teen age years with our relationships intact and with the hubris of one with a two-decade career in education. 

The advice is surprisingly good, including several tips that will remind you to take their problems seriously--because they are serious, and also several tips that will keep communication open.
